Violinist Caitlin Tully started her violin studies in Vancouver at the age of four and made her debut with the Vancouver Symphony at age 10. She displays a musical maturity and inspiration far beyond her years. Now 17-years-old, Tully performs with orchestras and in recitals across Canada and the United States. She has won numerous national and international awards and made appearances on TV and radio. Ms. Tully is a student of Itzhak Perlman, with whom she began studying in the summer of 2002 at the Perlman Music Program.
“Once Caitlin Tully raises the violin to her chin, she’s one with the instrument, looping, swirling, straining the bow with the assurance of a virtuoso thrice her age.”
The Ames High School Orchestra will present a concert full of joy! Come early to hear this 125 piece ensemble plays music from around the world.
