Since its founding, Cuarteto Casals has quickly become recognized as one of Europe's most distinguished string quartets. This Spanish ensemble has garnered extensive critical acclaim and has won top prizes at many international competitions including the National Music Award, the highest distinction for musicians in Spain. German-born pianist Andreas Klein will join Cuarteto Cassals in their performance at the Gallagher-Bluedorn. He is internationally acclaimed as a luminous and captivating artist and an introspective and poetic performer. The New York Times summed it up: "A fascinating artist with all the indispensable qualities: temperament, taste, touch, tone, the four T's of pianism."
Andreas Klein is heard frequently on National Public Radio's "Performance Today”.
