Animal Policy
No animals allowed except service animals.

Cameras
The use of cameras, both video and still, or any other recording device is prohibited.

Cellular Phones / Pagers
To eliminate disruptions by cellular phones and pagers, these devices should be turned off or turned to silent mode during all performances at the Gallagher-Bluedorn.

Children
Parents should use discretion in deciding which events are appropriate for their children. To encourage families to experience the arts with their children, the Gallagher-Bluedorn offers discounts to children 18 years of age and younger.

Children’s booster seats, sponsored by Village Inn, are available free of charge for Artist Series and Symphony performances. They are located at the iWireless table by the main entrance.

Dress Code
Guests often wear both formal and casual attire to attend performances at the Gallagher Bluedorn, and all is welcome. Attire often varies by performance type.

Due to acoustical design of the heat and air conditioning system, cool breezes can sometimes be experienced during a show. Guests are welcome to bring a light jacket or sweater to help accommodate.

Exchanges
Typically, we can offer ticket exchanges depending on show seating availability. Contact UNITix for more information.

First Aid
First aid supplies are available upon request. Please ask any usher or staff member for assistance.

Food & Beverages
A full beverage service and light snacks are available for purchase during intermissions at most events in the lobby. Only bottled water is allowed inside the Great Hall.

Lobby
The lobby is free and open to the public during regular business hours of 8am – 5pm.

Lost & Found
Please give all found items to ushers or staff. If you’ve lost an item, contact the box office for assistance.

Re-Entry
If you need to leave and re-enter, please make sure to have your ticket with you.

Restrooms
Restrooms are available on all levels and are handicap accessible.

Late Seating
Please arrive early out of respect for the performers and audience members. The lobby doors will open at least one hour prior to curtain, and the Great Hall will open one half-hour prior to curtain. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the lobby and will be ushered to their seats during an appropriate pause in the performance.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the Gallagher Bluedorn and on the entire University of Northern Iowa campus.

Weather
In most cases, all shows will run as scheduled, regardless of weather. Any exceptions will be communicated via public media outlets.

Ticket Office Information and Hours
Our ticket office is located inside the Gallagher-Bluedorn main lobby.
Academic year hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 90 minutes prior to all GBPAC performances. Summer hours vary.

Payment Options
We gladly accept cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Checks should be payable to UNItix. UNI students can charge tickets to their U-Bill, and UNI employees can payroll deduct. UNI students can purchase $5 rush tickets, when available, with cash only.

Sitting Together
We will gladly make every effort to seat you with friends or family. Please include all ticket orders in one envelope, indicating that you would like to sit together.

Group Rates
For most events, the Gallagher-Bluedorn offers a 10 percent discount on tickets for groups of 15 or more. Call 319-273-3672 for more information.

Discounts
No double discounts. Discounts cannot be taken on top of any subscription, series or student prices.
